Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, submitting a booking form, or scheduling a service with Refined Rides, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this site or submit a booking.
These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website and booking services. They govern your relationship with us from the moment you begin the booking process.
Who We Are
JLC Auto Detailing LLC, doing business as Refined Rides, is a professional auto detailing company based in Clovis, New Mexico. We provide premium detailing and ceramic coating services for personal and fleet vehicles.
References to "Refined Rides," "we," "us," and "our" in these Terms all refer to JLC Auto Detailing LLC.
The Services
We offer a range of auto detailing and ceramic coating packages as described on our booking page. Service descriptions, package inclusions, and pricing are subject to change — the details presented at the time of your booking govern your appointment.
Any recommendations, estimates, or advice provided (by our team, this website, or any automated system) are informational only and not guarantees of a specific outcome. Results depend on the condition of your vehicle, environmental factors, and the care applied after service.
Booking & Deposits
A deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The deposit amount varies by package — standard detailing packages require a $50 deposit; ceramic coating packages require a $300 deposit. Applicable tax is collected on the deposit at the time of booking.
Your remaining balance is due in full at the time of your appointment. We reserve the right to decline service if the balance is not paid prior to beginning work.
Cancellations, Reschedules & No-Shows
Cancellations or reschedule requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or failure to appear at the scheduled time (no-show), will result in forfeiture of your deposit. No credit, transfer, or rollover will be issued.
To cancel or reschedule, contact us by text or phone at (575) 366-8871. Cancellations must be confirmed by our team to be considered valid — requests sent to other channels (social media, email, etc.) may not be received in time.
In addition to forfeiting your deposit, you authorize us to charge the card on file for any no-show or late-cancellation fee to the extent it exceeds the deposit already collected (see Section 6).
Payment
Deposits are processed securely through FastPayDirect, our third-party payment processor. By submitting a payment, you agree to FastPayDirect's terms and privacy policy.
Your remaining balance is due at the appointment. New Mexico gross receipts tax applies to all services and is calculated at the current Clovis rate.
In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute filed against a valid charge, we reserve the right to provide documentation of the services booked, your agreement to these Terms, and the deposit policy to the applicable payment processor.
Vehicle Condition & Your Responsibilities
By booking a service, you confirm that:
- The vehicle is owned by you or you have authority to authorize service on it
- The vehicle is in drivable condition and can be delivered to and retrieved from our location
- You have removed all personal valuables, cash, documents, and irreplaceable items before dropping off the vehicle
- You have disclosed any known pre-existing damage, sensitive surfaces, or special conditions
We are not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle. We take care with every vehicle in our shop, but we assume no liability for pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, or conditions present before service begins.
Service Results & Limitations
We take pride in the quality of our work. However, detailing results are inherently dependent on the condition of your vehicle prior to service. We do not guarantee the complete removal of:
- Deep scratches, swirl marks, or paint defects beyond what is included in your package
- Long-set stains, biological contamination, or odors embedded in surfaces
- Oxidation or weathering damage that has penetrated beyond the clear coat
Ceramic coatings are professionally applied and designed to last when properly maintained. Coating longevity depends on environmental exposure, washing habits, and care after application. We do not guarantee a specific duration of protection or resistance against impacts, improper washing techniques, or abrasive contact.
If you have concerns about expected results for your specific vehicle, text us before booking and we'll give you an honest assessment.
Communications & SMS
By booking an appointment, you consent to receive SMS messages from Refined Rides related to your appointment — including confirmation, reminders, and follow-up. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including the Refined Rides name, logo, photographs, copy, and booking system — is owned by JLC Auto Detailing LLC or licensed for our use. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any of it without our written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and the information on it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
Our services are provided with professional care and craftsmanship, but beyond what is expressly stated in your booking confirmation, we make no warranties regarding specific outcomes, results, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JLC Auto Detailing LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages — including loss of use of your vehicle, loss of income, or any claim by a third party — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages. If those laws apply to you, some of the above limitations may not apply.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JLC Auto Detailing LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of our services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Curry County, New Mexico.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
For active bookings made prior to a Terms update, the Terms in effect at the time of booking apply to that appointment.
